Nonetheless, he got into broadcasting in 1983 when he served in Bryan, Ohio as sports director at WBNO-FM. In October 1984, he went on to serve WNEZ-FM in Aiken.
While there, he served as a midday personality and sports director. Later, when WNEZ-FM transitioned to WKXC-FM (Kicks 99), he served as a part of the Kicks Wake-up Crew. Additionally, he served as a co-host, news and sports anchor, and staff meteorologist for more than 20 years. In 2015, he migrated to News Talk WGAC-AM/FM.
During his quarter-century there, he served as a member of Augusta’s Morning News. Furthermore, he co-hosted, anchored sports, and served as a staff meteorologist. Aside from his radio tasks, he served as a substitute meteorologist at WRDW-TV for just about 30 years. When he is not working, he loves running, traveling, and spending time with his family and dog.
