Smith serves KGTV as a sports anchor and reporter. Upon joining the station, she initially served as a sports producer. Upon graduating college, he served Fox Sports News in Los Angeles as a production assistant. However, his initial on-air job was when he served in Bemidji, Minnesota at KAWE as a sports director. This served as the initial time he encountered below-zero temperatures.
A year later, he went on to serve in the upper Midwest and then in Redding, California. While in California, he served KRCR as a weekend sports anchor. He rejoined the Midwest and served in Kalamazoo, Michigan at WWMT as a weekend sports anchor. During his time there, he provided coverage for Michigan, Michigan State, and Notre Dame athletics. He is always interested in good stories and local sports at any level.
