The couple works together to overcome frustrating delays, shocking budget increases,s and massive structural issues to ensure Hotel Amavi peaks for the tourist season. During one of the episodes, Luke says that they have given everything to the hotel and that they’re determined to make it work. Stephs adds in and says, “The motel is closed, so money is going out and nothing is coming in.” Their parents also make appearances on the show chipping in ideas and bits of advice.
