Apart from his journalism career job, he is also a singer and songwriter. He considers it a unique career where he spent almost ten years on tour doing his job. DiPietrantonio performed in venues in Italy & Central America, New York City, and all over the U.S. He was able to sing their National Anthem at the Reds & Tampa Bay Rays games, along with several other pro teams.
Not long ago he was in Charleston, WV, and was one of the front men for the long-standing soul & blues bands there, “The Esquires”. The band existed since 1964. He loved singing everything from Doobie to Motown Brothers still hoping to squeeze in some time for Cincy’s music scene too.
During his free time, he likes looking for delicious Italian food since he is a big foodie. He loves his family’s ricotta gnocchi which is his personal favorite along with his homemade sauce, which he still makes every Sunday.

His work has been recognized where he was nominated for three Emmy Awards for his reporting. In addition to that, the West Virginia Broadcaster’s Association named him the “Best Breaking News Reporter” in the State. He was also named the “Best Hard News Reporter” by the West Virginia Broadcaster Association.
