Scotty Gange is an American Anchor/Reporter working for 9News in Denver, Colorado as a Sports Anchor and Reporter. He joined the station in January 2021. Prior to this, she was working for Cronkite News on Arizona PBS serving the station as a Sports/News Anchor and Reporter.

Gange attended Torrey Pines High School where he studied between 2013 and 2017 and obtained a High School Diploma. He then went on to join Arizona State University – Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication where he studied between 2017 and May 2020. Gange works for KUSA 9News serving the station as a Sports Anchor and Reporter. He got his job at KUSA 9News the same week as when he was turning 21 years old. Scotty spent his first two years working at 9News serving the station as a Prep Sports Reporter. During his time there, he created the popular 9News Swag Chain segment.
He was named Colorado Sportscaster of the Year twice by the Colorado Broadcasters Association. Additionally, he was recognized as the 2020 Jimm Nantz Award Winner and was awarded the nation’s top collegiate sportscaster.
In addition to this, he was honored by the Colorado High School Athletic Directors with their annual media award for outstanding prep sports coverage after his 1st year and the Colorado High School Coaches Association did the same during his second year on the beat.
Gange was a three-sport varsity athlete in school (football, track, and baseball) and was also captain of the football team and was awarded the most spirited in his senior class of 2017. He states that he is most proud of his “Best Smile” award in the 6th grade.
He states that he starts the majority of his shows with “It’s a good day to have a great, hi everybody quotation.” Gange states that he looks forward to bringing positivity and joy to everything he does. He states that he is reasoning is that sports are fun and therefore sports reporting should also be very fun. Away from work, he states that he is a confident below-average snowboarder and a bigger fan of “The Office” than most people.
