Further, she served as an ASUI Legislative Ambassador. Moreover, she holds a Certificate in Broadcast/Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State University which she attained in 2022.

Jacobsen serves KBOI as a co-anchor on CBS2 News This Morning alongside Deni Hawkins on weekdays from 5 to 7 a.m. Also, she serves as a meteorologist. She joined the station in September 2017. During her stint at the station, she has served in a number of different positions counting weekend anchor, weather anchor, and reporter. In August 2022, she attained her meteorology and NWA certification.
Aside from her anchoring duties, she leads the station’s Leaders in Learning beat and Five Minute Finance beat for CBS 2. Prior toKBOI, she served KLEW in Lewiston where she began her career. At the station, she served as an executive producer/anchor fill-in weather anchor, and fill-in sports director. While in college, she served Inside the Vandals, a student-run sports program as a reporter and producer. Also, she served as a host and reporter for “Mostly Moscow News” and served Idaho Public Radio as an intern.
