Sam Schreier Biography
Sam Schreier is an American meteorologist who is working for KOAA as a morning meteorologist since September 2017. He joined the station in November 2016. Upon joining the station, he initially served as the weekend evening meteorologist. Additionally, he has served the station for more than half a decade.

Schreier serves KOAA as a morning meteorologist since September 2017. He joined the station in November 2016. Upon joining the station, he initially served as the weekend evening meteorologist. Additionally, he has served the station for more than half a decade. For three years, he served in Des Moines at WOI TV 5 chiefly as a morning meteorologist. Further, he debuted his meteorology career in Iowa. His most unforgettable memories include navigating drastic broadcasts of both the Cheyenne Mountain hail storm back in 2018 and the bomb cyclone in March of 2019.
Moreover, he specializes in broadcasting drastic weather, primarily tornadic supercells, large-scale winter storms, and blizzards. On a side note, he serves as a big movie lover as opposed to reading. For instance, his favorite movies include the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Signs, V for Vendetta, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, and Aliens to list a few. To boot, he’s a massive fan of skiing where his favorite resorts are Crested Butte, Arapahoe Basin, and Telluride. Even though he’s a fan of hiking, he’s not the biggest fan of 14ers.
