However, he began his occupancy at NCM as a multi-skilled journalist at the Bangor station in September 2019. For two years, he served that station prior to coming to the Portland newsroom. While in Portland, he covers business, politics, events, and sports stories.
Since then, he has dubbed himself the newsroom’s ‘Director of Morale’, where he aids in organizing social events for the station and spreads positive energy. Prior to Maine, he served in New Hampshire for four years at the University of New Hampshire. While there, he served the campus radio station, WUNH as a sports director.
Additionally, he called UNH hockey, basketball, football, and lacrosse games as a play-by-play broadcaster. Also, he served the school paper as a sports staff writer where he broadcasted the hockey and basketball segments. From the time he joined a summer camp called “Sports Center for Kids” in Shrewsbury, he realized his dream of broadcasting.
On a side note, the summer camp offered students the opportunity to learn how to research and write a news story. Additionally, it gave them editing, shooting, and anchoring experience on TV. Moreover, he attended the camp from second grade up until high school. When he is not working, he loves playing pond hockey, playing golf, or exploring some of Maine’s best breweries.
