Breton serves FOX 61 as a weekend meteorologist at 10 and 11 p.m. During the week, he reports on climate, science, and the environment. Prior to FOX 61, he served NEWS CENTER Maine (WCSH-TV) in Portland as a weekend meteorologist and a reporter. Further, he reported on three weekday mornings where he covered science topics. He served the station for 4 and a half years.
When he was working in Maine, he broadcasted numerous nor’easters and the nation’s biggest tornado outbreak on record. Nonetheless, he began his career when he served at NH1 News in Concord, New Hampshire as an intern. Moreover, he served with the meteorologists at WCVB-TV in Boston while he was still pursuing his degree in college.
Additionally, he was selected for a Boston/New England EMMY award for Outstanding Meteorologist. Furthermore, he attained the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal in the fall of 2018. When he is not forecasting, he enjoys running, spending time outdoors skiing, and golfing. In addition, football is his favorite sport. Also, he cheers on the New England Patriots and Penn State Nittany Lions.
