Roz Varon is an American Emmy-Award-Winning Traffic Anchor/Reporter working for ABC 7 News since March 1989 where she anchors the traffic news every morning. She happens to be the first TV Anchor in the country to bring rush-hour traffic reporting to the morning television news.

Varon happens to be a breast cancer survivor and has worked diligently to help heighten cancer prevention and awareness, in addition to being an in-demand motivational speaker. She is also an animal-lover and volunteers much of her time to the PAWS Chicago and Anti-Cruelty Society.

Since the year 2000, she has served on the board of Governors of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Currently, she is a proud member of the Columbia Alumni Association & Network National Alumni Board (CAAN at Columbia College).
