She began her television career as a reporter for two local shows and an associate producer of the station’s evening newscast at WTBS, Ted Turner’s UHF television station in Atlanta. In the early 1980s, she returned to her hometown of New York as a correspondent for WABC’s “Good Morning New York,” which later became “Live with Regis. In Addition Kathie Lee.” Scotto joined WABC-TV’s “Eyewitness News” as a reporter after a year with “Good Morning New York” and “The Morning Show,” where she remained until joining FOX 5.
