He also worked at WTHR-TV for 5 years and 5 months where he served as an investigative reporter. On joining WTHR-TV, he started off by serving as a general assignment reporter.
From June 1994 to August 1997, he worked at WTNH-TV where he served as a general assignment reporter and investigative reporter. He had previously spent 7 years and 2 months working at WIVB-TV where he served as a general assignment reporter, anchor, and line producer from May 1987 to June 1994.
