Before that, she worked for the CBS affiliate in San Antonio, Texas as an investigative and general assignment reporter. In New York City, she served Arise News, a 24-hour international news channel headquartered out of Nigeria as a White House correspondent and morning show co-host.
At RT, she has worked as a Washington correspondent and anchor. In Maine, she started her career at the NBC affiliates and she has also worked in Chicago at the Associated Press. Also, the Council on Foreign Relations chose her to be a term member.
In the United States Navy Reserve, she works as an officer. Moreover, on the board of directors, she serves as the co-president of the Asian American Journalists Association San Diego. Some of the most impactful stories she’s reported in her career include Missouri for the Associated Press, the historic 2015 presidential elections in Nigeria, and the aftermath of the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson. She was born outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
