Caggiano works for KITV as a weekend evening Meteorologist. Before joining the station, he worked at Central Florida News 13 in Orlando, Florida. During the most active seasons on record in both the Atlantic (2005) and Central Pacific (2015)he tracked hurricanes.
Dating back to 2004, he worked at WCJB in Gainesville, Florida, and prior to that, he worked in Dothan, Alabama in 2003 at WDHN. In 2002, he received a degree in Meteorology from Florida State University.
He holds both the National Weather Association Seal of Approval and the American Meteorological Society. Presently, he works as the Chief Meteorologist on KITV Island News on weekdays at 5, 6, and 10 pm.
