Further, the “Tucson Weekly” and the Spanish-language magazine “Perfil Social” awarded him first place as “Best Sportscaster” for several solid years. From 2000 to 2003, he served KOLD News 13 as a news reporter and a substitute anchor.

Prior to Tucson, he served in the El Paso, Texas; Las Cruces, NM; Juarez, Mexico region as a sports director and special assignment reporter. Through his endeavors, he has been featured in state TV programs. For instance, he appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show as a guest. On the program, he supplied an approach as an objective journalist after broadcasting a story of a Tucson High guidance counselor who posed nude in an adult magazine.
Aside from news, he served as a teacher at Sunnyside and Desert View High School. Also, he served as a mentor to threatened youth on Tucson’s south side. Else, he served as a Rotary Ambassador of Goodwill in Mexico. In his free time, he’s at local gyms working out or playing basketball.
