Booko is a 2008 graduate of Paloma Valley High School. She started taekwondo at age 8 and is now a 5th-degree black belt. Booko was the very 1st “Miss USA” on the cover of “Tae Kwon Do Times”. She also trained in jazz and ballet for 5 years. After high school, she worked as a nanny in Europe and did mission work in Mexico for 3 months. In the final round, she spoke about the importance of self-defense when asked about sexual assault. She later represented the United States at “Miss Universe 2014” and finished as 1st runner-up.
Booko hosted the documentary “Budget or Baller” in the year 2018 and co-hosted “Miss Teen USA 2019” with Tim Tialdo. In January 2024, she launched her podcast “Hold My Crown”. On March 19, 2024, she joined Bravo’s reality show “The Valley” (a “Vanderpump Rules” spin-off).
