He travels to Memphis every year to publicize the hospital and share incredible patient tales. Paducah’s Dream Home broke all kinds of records for ticket sales and helped St. Jude earn millions of dollars. Additionally, Mike serves as the chairman of the regional Memory Walk, formerly known as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Mike received the “Better Life Award” from the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities as a result of his efforts with the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Mallory joined Local 6 from WTVW in Evansville, where he spent over 11 years as a sports anchor, morning show host, and feature reporter. He relocated to our market in 1998 to anchor Local 6 Today. Additionally, “What’s it Worth,” the well-known antiques section, and “Mallory’s Gallery,” amusing features infused with Mike’s distinct sense of humor, are remembered. Mike worked at TV43 in Hopkinsville for his first television position before moving back to Bowling Green, where he attended college, where he spent two years at WBKO.
