Together they examine issues and develop laws that help families in Florida and across the country.
Holfed has covered big stories including a report on parents losing a pregnancy to miscarriage. This led to the passage of the Grieving Parents Law. It has helped to grant the right to hold a memorial service no matter when the miscarriage occurs among Florida parents. He also covered a story on the economic downturn post 9-11, it persuaded then Gov. Jeb Bush to allow tax extensions for hotel-motel owners.
His investigations have ushered into new proposals in the video retail sales industry and the auto insurance industry. He joined the University of Delaware to further his education. After finishing his studies there, he received a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication and Media Studies.
