Keely works for WPMT-FOX 43 as an anchor and reporter. He anchors FOX 43 News at 10 on Friday and Saturday nights and reports live and does investigative pieces on the weekday editions of FOX 43 News. He joined the station from WNEP in Scranton where she worked for a year and a half.
During his time there, he reported and filled in as an anchor on breaking news, crime, politics, and human interest stories. As investigators examined three lab monkeys who ran away to the woods after the truck carrying them crashed in Central Pennsylvania, he was on-scene.
For 3 days, he broadcasted the fatal 80-car pileup on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County. Aso, he reported about a suspected serial killer linked to murders in Pennsylvania and Michigan. His initial reports were telecasted on WJAC in Johnstown where he broadcasted the Altoona area.
Aside from Altoona, he worked as a weekend news anchor in Johnstown for a year. During his time in Altoona, he broadcasted the 2020 elections and shared the stories of children and adults with disabilities who got life-changing adaptive bicycles and strollers from a Pennsylvania non-profit.
His TV career started when he worked in Harrisburg at WHP as an intern. Later, he earned a promotion and worked as a production assistant. Regularly, he appeared on the station’s high school football segments.
A self-proclaimed biggest fan of ‘The Office,’ he regularly watches the show and loved visiting ‘The Office’ sites in and around Scranton while at WNEP. Moreover, he runs along the Susquehanna River or hiking in the Pennsylvania Mountains and loves staying active in nature.
