She co-hosts the “FOX 11 Special Report” alongside Elex Michaelson on weeknights at 6 p.m. Prior to joining the FOX 11 Los Angeles News team, she worked for the NBC affiliate in San Francisco. While there, she anchored the midday newscast.
Her journalism career job began as a news producer and news writer behind-the-scenes in the Bay Area. From there, she moved to work for the CBS affiliate in Salinas as a reporter where her -air career launched. She is much dedicated to her career. Tellez joined the CBS station in San Francisco to gain experience. During her working time there, she worked as a producer and correspondent for the nightly show, Evening Magazine. Her career did not stop there, she continued working hard. She left California for an anchor opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2008. While there, she got an opportunity to appear in the hit AMC show, “Breaking Bad.”
