She rejoined the ABC 17 News team in September 2022. Previously, she served the station from 2014 to 2017 on the evening anchor desk as a co-anchor before her stint in St. Louis at KMOV-TV as a morning news anchor and reporter on “News 4 This Morning.”
While in St. Louis, she attained honors from the Missouri Broadcasters Association as the best anchor in the state twice. When she was a sophomore in college, she served in New York NBC News as an intern. During her quarter-century there, she worked on the TODAY Show, Nightly News, and Dateline. Nonetheless, she began her TV career when she served in Paducah, Kentucky at WPSD-TV as a morning anchor and a reporter.
Moreover, she shot, wrote, produced, and edited a documentary series based out of Kandaria, Kenya. Via the series, she attained “Best Documentary” from the Kentucky Associated Press. During her tenure at ABC 17 as an evening anchor, y the Missouri Broadcasters Association rewarded her with “Best News Anchor.” Apart from TV, she serves as a professional voiceover actress.
To boot, she serves as the voice of a meditation app. Also, she served as a lecturer at the University of Missouri School of Journalism prior to joining ABC 17 in September 2022. Additionally, she did lectures on “TV Reporting.” When she is not working, she enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband and sons.
