Baquero has held several prominent positions with NBC 4 and has reported from both domestic and international locations. As the nation prepared for the Pope’s historic visit, Lynda provided live coverage from Puerto Rico on the economy, tourism, and President Obama’s 2011 visit to the island. She also covered Pope John Paul II’s trip to the Holy Land, Cuba’s economy, and the status of religion. Baquero traveled to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Puerto Rico to document the arrival and devastation caused by Hurricane Georges. She also covered the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and Atlanta.
