Lisa Greenberg Career
Greenberg is a weekday morning anchor for WFTX-TV Fox 4 News. She began her career at Fox 4 as a reporter. Afterward, less than two years, she became the Weekend Evening News Anchor. Later in October 2018, she was blessed to become the station’s Morning News Anchor. While at the station she covered the Teresa Sievers murder and even anchored from outside the Lee County Courthouse every morning during the trial. She also covered the death of 5-year-old Andrew Faust, the Club Blu mass shooting, and Hurricane Irma in addition to multiple other hurricanes and tropical storms.
Lisa loves cheering for the Orange and Blue, and never missed a home football game. While at the University of Florida, she first reported for Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM, the NPR affiliate at the University of Florida. And then traded her audio recorder for a camera, and started reporting and anchoring for WUFT-TV News. Greenberg grew up watching Fox 4 News and therefore feels incredibly lucky to now be a member of the news team.
During her free time, she loves soaking in the sunshine at their beautiful beaches, spending time with her family and friends, playing with her adorable nieces and nephews, and cheering on her favorite sports teams (Go Gators! And Go Rays!).
