She and her rescue dog Pickles showcase animals in need of homes in their segment called “Pickles’ Pick” on News Channel 8 on Tuesday mornings. Also, at WTTA Great, she forecasts from 7 a.m.-9 am. During her runs, the weather entices her to get out and explore the neighborhoods around her house.
Before, she worked for WCBD in Charleston, SC as a morning meteorologist for three years and five months. Prior to working for WCBD, she worked for 2 years and 2 months in WMAZ, Gannett as a meteorologist. In 2008, she earned the National Weather Association Broadcast Seal of Approval and the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation. At UGA, as one of the first people to graduate with an Atmospheric Science Certificate. Her favorite weekend of the year is Tampa’s Gasparilla Distance Classic. She’s a big college football fan.
