During her time in Los Angeles, she has tackled a diverse range of stories, which include reporting on the Monterey Park mass shooting, the significant blizzard warning in 2023, and the 2022 Superbowl.
Before her stint at NBC4 News, Coronado made her mark as a reporter at the NBC affiliate in San Diego. Her exceptional coverage of the protests that followed the tragic death of George Floyd earned her a well-deserved Emmy award. Prior to San Diego, she worked at KESQ, an affiliate that covered ABC, CBS, and FOX in Palm Springs. While in the desert, she reported on various notable events, such as the destructive 100-year storm that wiped out Highway 111.
The heartbreaking Borderline Bar and Grill mass shooting, and the devastating Woolsey fire that swept through Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Additionally, she took on the role of a fill-in anchor during her time there. Outside of her journalism career, Coronado finds joy in spending quality time with her family. She also has a passion for skiing and is a dedicated supporter of Los Angeles sports teams.
