She began working at WBOC as weekend reporter, but then spent about five years serving as a morning anchor. She stayed on the shore for so long because she fell in love with the communities and especially the people she met and even got married in Ocean City.
Lacee first joined the “11 News Today” team where she helped viewers navigate through Baltimore’s traffic backups. Afterward, she began co-anchoring “11 News Today” weekday mornings in June 2022 with Jason Newton. During her free time, she loves to run. In 2018, Griffith completed her second full marathon. She also loves to bake and cook. The coupe continues to travel and take adventures even after having their daughter.
