Kyle Burger is an American Anchor/Reporter working for WFTS in Tampa, Florida, in the United States as a sports anchor. He joined the station in March 2020. He previously worked in Alabama at WVTM-TV in Birmingham and WAAY-TV in Huntsville before joining the station.

Burger is a sports anchor for WFTS-TV ABC Action News. Before he joined the station he worked in Alabama at WVTM-TV in Birmingham and WAAY-TV in Huntsville. While there he was fortunate to cover numerous of big-time college football games while traveling with the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers.
Kyle was on the field for iconic college football moments including Auburn’s “Kick Six” against Alabama, and Tua Tagovailoa’s “2nd & 26” pass that won the Crimson Tide another national championship. While working in Birmingham, he was nominated for four regional Emmy awards and collected several Alabama Broadcasters Association awards for his sports reporting.
In 2006 while working at WMBB-TV in Panama City, Fla Burger also had the opportunity to cover the Florida Gators’ national championship run. He began his first job in Dalton, Ga at WDNN-TV. While in college Kyle interned in Atlanta at WSB-TV and at WMAZ-TV in Macon, Ga.
During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Kenya, and their Yorkies Oscar and Jonesi. He also loves going to the beach, photography, pulling for his Atlanta sports teams., and working out.
