Kasper kick-started her career working as a K2 Television’s Chief Capitol Correspondent located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Additionally, she also spent about three years at the statehouse reporting on the budget, energy and coal industry, economic issues, and agriculture.
Later on, she moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana where she was working as an anchor and reporter for WPTA. While there, she was part of a team that broke the news of an arrest in the year 1988 April Tinsley sold case. This helped in ending decades of continuous coverage of the child’s murder.
She has also been covering complex issues located in Washington where she was interviewing lawmakers, White House officials, presidential candidates, and cabinet secretaries. Additionally, she also continues to be an avid supporter of the arts, with a life-long appreciation for musical theatre, choral music, and opera.
Kasper was also serving as Aquatics Supervisor for the City of Cheyenne in Wyoming where she was serving between August 2015 and 2017. Previously, she was also serving as an Asst. Head Lifeguard for the Milwaukee County between June 2009 and August 2013.
This is in addition to working as a Lifeguard with the University of Wisconsin between January 2010 and May 2013. She also worked as a Reporter Intern with the Journal Broadcast Group between May 2012 and September 2012. Kasper currently sits on the board of directors for the Alexandra Choral Society.
