Buschjost is a weeknight evening anchor for ABC Big 2 News/KMID at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. Before joining the station he worked for three years as a reporter and fill-in anchor for Nevada’s NBC affiliate at KRNV News 4-Reno in Reno, NV. Prior to that, he was a student at Colorado State University where he worked for Arizona PBS and Cronkite Sports Los Angeles as a reporter and content producer. Before moving to Reno, Nevada, Karsen worked as a communications specialist at Phoenix Suns from September 2016 to April 2017.
While at the university Karsen interned at KDVR Fox 31 in Denver. Growing up near the mountains, he became an avid skier and lover of the outdoors. During his free time, you can find him, cheering passionately for his lowly Denver Broncos, trying new places to eat, playing basketball at the local gym, and lifting weights. He is a huge international traveler, with some of his favorite vacations such as Australia and Bora Bora.
