Andrews works for KPIX as a news reporter. After working as the lead morning reporter and fill-in anchor in his home market of St. Louis, Missouri for five years he came to the Bay Area. His reporting has earned him national exposure including CBS This Morning, HLN while in St. Louis, and live reports on CNN. He spent decades in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, reporting and anchoring for KWWL prior to moving to St. Louis.
Several of his stories hit the national spotlight during his time in eastern Iowa including a 17-year-old who was killed after he was swept into a storm sewer drain during flooding. Finally, they added safety upgrades after aggressively going after city leaders.
As the weekend evening anchor Andrews made stops in Kirksville, Missouri, and began his career in Kansas City, Missouri, as a fill-in assignment desk editor and morning producer. With more than 10 years of television experience, he is happy to call the Bay Area home! He loves brunching, anything outdoors, tasting all the food options the Bay Area has to offer, mentoring, and church.
