Bragg works as a news anchor at WTVR. She was lucky enough to be selected as one of Channel 6’s For Kids’ Sake Ambassadors. They had a local children’s television show that aired on Saturday mornings, and that’s when she chose “what she wanted to be when she grew up.”
She went on to study Mass Communications at James Madison University after graduating from J. R. Tucker High School in Henrico County. Bragg took her first television news job at a small community television station in Martinsville, Virginia as a reporter, local talk show host, and anchor.
Afterward, she transitioned to Roanoke where she worked for the NBC affiliate, WSLS 10, for almost five years. There, she was an anchor, producer, and health reporter. She has spent about two decades reporting the news in Central Virginia from the anchor desk and as a reporter out in the field since she came back home to Richmond.
She now anchors CBS 6 News at 4, 5, and 5:30, but she has also anchored the morning news and hosted “Virginia This Morning,” during her time at WTVR. Bragg really loves being close to her family and living where she was raised up.
