Josh was a Sports Director at WAPT, before his transition to the news. While at WAPT he earned a regional Emmy award and multiple broadcasting accolades. While attending college, Jackson played defensive back for the Belhaven University football team. In 2018, he was named Belhaven University’s Young Alumnus of the Year for his broadcasting accomplishments and work in the community. Afterward, he received his master’s degree and has since served as an adjunct professor at various colleges.
