Cozart serves as a weekend evening meteorologist at KOIN-TV based in Portland, Oregon where he serves as a meteorologist since December 2022. Prior to joining KOIN-TV, he worked at KVAL TV CBS & KMTR NBC 16 Eugene where he served as the chief meteorologist as well as the evening meteorologist from July 2019 till December 2022. From March 2013 to March 2020, he worked at Cozart Photography where he served as a photographer based in Denver. He had previously spent 1 year and 3 months working at KHQA based in Illinois where he served as a weekend meteorologist, storm chaser, and reporter from May 2018 to July 2019.
From February 2016 to April 2018, he worked at WeatherNation based in Centennial, CO where he served as a forecaster and producer. During his tenure at WeatherNation, he was also in charge of editing videos, social media, and photography.
