In 1983, he joined The University of California Berkeley where he attained his Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters in 1987. Hart serves as the 4,5 &6 pm anchor at KRNV News 4-Reno based in Reno, Nevada. Since joining KRNV-TV, he has enclosed several stories including the controversial poisoning of Lake Davis in 1997 and President Clinton’s visit to Lake Tahoe that same year. He also flew in an Air Force fighter jet out at Fallon and was chosen for the 2002 Winter Olympics as a Torchbearer. P
Prior to working at KRNV-TV, he worked at several stations in Santa Rosa, California as well as Las Vegas. Since he started his journalism career, he has won several awards and honors including the NorCal RTNDA Award for best news writing. He also won the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Top TV Anchor Award, presented by the Reno Press Club. He was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in August 2007.
