While there, she served as a weekend sports anchor and reporter.
Apart from her journalism career, she is an advocate for women and girls in sports and volunteered coaching youth club volleyball while in Kansas City. In addition, she is a member of NABJ and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. During her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, trying new recipes, as well as working out.
