When she was in kindergarten, she drew a tornado with cows flying into the tornado when asked to draw what she wanted to be when she’s grown up.“I’ve always wanted to be a meteorologist and nothing else,” she comments.
In the wake of her graduation, she debuted her career when she served in St. Joseph, Missouri at KQTV-TV as a meteorologist. Later, in November 2013 she joined the WHO-TV 13 weather team in Des Moines, Iowa, and served as its meteorologist.
Further, in December she went on to serve in Kansas City at KMBC 9 as a meteorologist. During the past multiple years, she trailed various tornadoes in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Even so, the largest tornado she tracked was ranked an EF-4 and occurred near Lyons, Kansas in 2012.
While in Minnesota, she will cover drastic weather and blizzards. Aside from the weather, she is active in pick-up volleyball and basketball games. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and triathlons. Also, she enjoys creating adventures and meeting new people. In addition, she resides in Minnesota.
