Prior to working at KTVN-TV, he worked at KRNV News 4 Reno, Nevada where he served as the weekend meteorologist from January 2011 to October 2012. He had previously spent about 7 years and 1 month working at KGO-TV, KRNV-TV, and KCRA-TV where he served as a freelance meteorologist.
From February 2001 to February 2005, he worked at KOLO-TV 8 News Now where he served as the Chief meteorologist. He had also spent some time working at KABB, KENS-TV where he served as a reporter and meteorologist based in San Antonio. Prior to his tenure at KABB and KENS, he worked at CLTV where he served as a meteorologist based in Chicago for about 1 year and 1 month. From January 1992 to January 1997, he worked at KOAT-TV where he served as a weather reporter and anchor based in Albuquerque, NM.
Over the years, he has enclosed a ton of extreme weather events including the 2010 snowfall in the Sierra, the 2005 New Year’s flood, droughts, wildfires, and heat. In addition to that, he is also a private pilot and owns the AMS CBM Seal of Approval. Whenever he is not busy working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
