From 2006 to 2010, he worked at AM1500 where he served as a radio talk show host. He has also won quite a number of awards including five National Awards for investigative reporting and anchoring.
Kolls also received three National Headliner Awards, the Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Society of Professional Journalists’ Bronze Medallion. In addition to that, he also received won 8 Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
