Working at the station is a full circle moment for him because it’s where he interned. Having gotten newsroom experience, he started his career in Albany, Georgia then made a stop in Savannah. Before coming back home to Birmingham he worked for nearly four years in Greenville, South Carolina.
Alongside team members at previous stations, Jarvis has won an Emmy and has been nominated three times, so far. He says he is looking forward to connecting with the community because it’s his home.
