Sparvero was excited to start working in an area where his career job started after a three-year effort to return to the state. Prior to joining the WKMG News team, he was working as a News anchor, reporter, and multimedia journalist at WAFB TV in Baton Rouge, LA.
He started his on-air career job in 2011 in south Florida. While there, he served at Sports/FOX Sports Florida as a production assistant. In addition, he worked for Xfinity High School Sports as a sideline reporter, videographer, and television analyst. He loved the experience he got and enjoyed working with the Florida Panthers, the Miami Marlins, and the Miami Heat.
From there, he headed to Panama City Beach, “World’s Most Beautiful Beaches,” and worked at WJHG for a year as a morning producer. He also got a chance to anchor and report sports and news. Sparvero was finding a place to grow his reporting and anchoring skills and landed to the north in Parkersburg, WV. He worked at WTAP where he worked as a weekend news anchor and weekday reporter.
