Parish is a meteorologist at WSBT 22 News in South Bend, Indiana. He grew up watching the nightly news, it was a family ritual growing up in his home. Parish developed his love and passion for weather at a young age. His favorite part of the news was always the weather forecast, particularly when snow was in the forecast.
Prior to joining the WSBT 22 weather team, he worked in Wichita Falls, Texas at KAUZ NewsChannel 6. While there, he served the station as a meteorologist. He also worked at KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, LA, and in Madison, Wisconsin at WMTV NBC 15. While he was working in dixie alley and tornado alley, he covered a lot of severe weather.
In December 2015, he tracked all the seasons in one day. In addition to that, there was severe weather in north central Texas and blizzard conditions in west Texas. His career also took him to Columbia, SC at WIS-TV, to Memphis, TN at WMC-TV, to Montgomery, AL at WSFA-TV, to New Orleans, Los Angeles at WVUE-TV, to Myrtle Beach, SC at WMBF-TV, and to Cape Girardeau, MO at KFVS-TV.
During his leisure time, he likes traveling, movies, cooking, and also sports. Parish cheers for his Boilers and all the Cleveland professional teams. When it comes to cooking, he enjoys cooking Mickey Mouse pancakes, crab legs, chicken wings, and ribs.
