Prior to this role, she served as the weekend Good Morning Arizona Anchor and reporter from March 2015 to September 2021. On joining the station, she started off by serving as the 4 pm news anchor, fill-in evening anchor, and evening reporter.
Prior to working at Arizona’s Family, she worked at Sinclair Broadcast Group|FOX25 where she served as the evening news anchor. While still working at FOX25, she won an AP Award for enclosing the national presidential elections and breaking news. In addition to that, she was also named Best of the Best by Oklahoma Magazine. From September 2002 to August 2006, she worked at KBMT Channel 12 based in Beaumont, Texas where she served as the morning and 5 pm news anchor.
Cerreta had previously spent 1 year and 1 month working at KSPR Springfield 33 based in Springfield, MO where she served as the morning news anchor from February 2001 to February 2002. From July 1999 to February 2001, she worked at KOAM Channel 7 based in Joplin, MO where she served as a reporter, photographer, and fill-in anchor.
Cerreta also worked at MetroNetworks based in Scottsdale, Arizona where she served as a weekend radio news anchor and writer from October 1988 to June 1999. Cerreta went to Arizona State University where she attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Communications.
