Jack McBrayer Career
McBrayer went to Heritage High School where he attained his High School Diploma. He later joined the University of Evansville where he studied theater administration. McBrayer kickstarted his career working at The Second City and IO Theater in Chicago, Illinois from 1995 to 2002. Later from 2002 to 2004, he made several appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien where he often played stereotypical hillbilly characters. He later made several appearances on Late Night playing Kenneth Parcell from 30 Rock on September 20, 2008, and August 10, 2007.
On January 13, 2010, and November 24, 2009Jack reprised his role as Kenneth. Jack later made an appearance on O’Brien’s Legally Prohibited From Being Funny with tour stops in Universal City, California, Eugene, Oregon, and Atlanta. Later in 2008, Jack was featured on “Touch My Body” by Mariah Carey and even publicized that he accidentally hit Mariah Carey with a Frisbee in the face while shooting for the song’s video. He also appeared as a spokesman in a spoof advert for the fifth season of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!
Since 2009, Jack has been working for Ugly Americans as a voice actor and also voiced Irving DuBois on Phineas. In 2010, Jack appeared in Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore 2010 and often makes appearances on “Knock Knock Joke of the Day” and the children’s show, Yo Gabba Gabba! Jack also stars in Wander Over Yonder which is aired on the Disney Channel. McBrayer made an appearance in The Simpsons season 22 episode “The Great Simpsina” and as Ewell Freestone, ‘Peach Guy’ in 2011.
The following year, (2012) he voice acted in Wreck-It Ralph taking the role of Fix-It Felix Jr. He recently starred in Kia commercials alongside Los Angeles Clippers player Blake Griffin. Jack’s voice acted in A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo in 2018 and later in December he made his West End stage debut in the transfer of the Broadway musical Waitress taking the role of Ogie until June 15, 2019.
In June 2019, he made an appearance on The Sara Cox Show which was aired on ITV. In 2020, got a recurring role on the Quibi comedy-mystery series, Mapleworth Murders. The following year, (2021) Jack made an appearance in the Netflix series, Nailed It! as a contestant.
