Culotta works for WGNO-TV Channel 26 News in New Orleans, Louisiana as a sports reporter and multimedia photographer. In 2013 he graduated from Jesuit High School of New Orleans, where he obtained leadership roles in the student council and the Sodality and worked as captain of the golf team.

From Spring Hill College (SHC) in Mobile, Alabama he accepted an academic and athletic scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts (Journalism) in 2017. He started his own sports show while at SHC which featured a segment called “Jack of All Trades,” where he competed against Badger student-athletes in order to give more media attention to the college’s sports program.

Culotta worked for five years in non-profit communications and development at Reconcile New Orleans (2020-2022) and Jesuit High School (2017-2020) after earning his degree. He began to chase a dream to work in sports toward the end of his non-profit journey.

Since 2022, he edited and produced live podcasts and sports reports on Loyola Basketball’s ’22 National Championship, and LHSAA prep sports through freelance writer positions for NOLA, New Orleans Saints,  LSU/Tulane/UNO Athletics, and Pelicans. Culotta’s podcast covers golf, sports betting, rugby, and volleyball.
