Copeland serves KING 5 as a reporter and anchor for KING 5. He joined the KING 5 News team in March 2008. Furthermore, he has served the station for more than 1 decade. Even so, he began his career when he served at Northwest Cable News in September 1996. For a year, he provided coverage for stories in Boise and served in Portland for 2 years prior to the Seattle region as a reporter and an anchor on the weekends.
Later, he started serving as a co-anchor of the weekday mornings on NWCN with Cam Johnson for 8 years. Additionally, he served KING 5 as an anchor of the News at Noon. Since then, he has served in various positions for the station. When he is not working, he probably works on something. Also, he enjoys fixing, learning, and building. To boot, on a good day he often uses a chainsaw or other power tools according to him.
