He commenced his career in Tallahassee, FL at the ABC Affiliate as a weekend weather anchor and weekday reporter. Throughout his tenure at WTXL, he prognosticated, produced, and delivered reports on all types of severe and tropical weather. This included field reporting during events like tropical storm Debbie and the aftermath of tropical systems affecting the panhandle of Florida.
Following four years in Tallahassee, he transitioned to KTNV in Las Vegas, NV (DMA 40). Initially hired as their Weekend Evening Weather Anchor and Weather Producer, he was swiftly promoted to Weekday Morning Weather Anchor within his first year. His forecasting repertoire expanded to encompass snow, sand storms, haboobs, wind storms, lightning storms, earthquakes, extreme temperature variations, and the southwest monsoon season.
After another four-year stint in Las Vegas, he received an offer to join the Weather Channel/Weather Group in Atlanta. There, he contributed to their Local Now broadcasts, providing weather updates for 38 different cities across the country. Additionally, he presented national weather for both Local Now and Cheddar, voiced over news, entertainment, and tech stories, and appeared regularly on Weather Channel Original content. He managed and presented all weather and science segments on the company’s digital platforms, along with lifestyle stories alongside the host of Local Now, and filled in on Weather Center Live as needed.
Returning to his home state of Florida, he joined WFLA/WTTA in Tampa, FL, for a year, where he supported their weather team, focusing on severe and tropical weather forecasting, producing, and presenting. Concurrently, he assisted ULA in media relations to help promote its message to the public, both locally and nationally.
