Rivera serves at Fox News as a weekday rotating co-host of, “The Five”. He began as a war correspondent at the station. He is also the host of FOX News Media’s direct-to-consumer streaming service, “COPS: All Access on FOX Nation.” This program provides a behind-the-scenes look at the risks faced by law enforcement officers in the line of duty each day.

Before his current roles at Fox News, Rivera worked as a correspondent, where he provided live reports. Also, he did every breaking story from natural disasters to terrorist attacks to many others. He has expertise in the Afghanistan region, where he covered the international drug wars of tribal territories in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Rivera has been a host of hour-long specials for Fox News, including pieces on the late singer/actor Elvis Presley and the comedian Joan Rivers. He has also been responsible for securing an interview with Joe Jackson in the year 2009 after his son Michael Jackson died. Before that, he had secured an interview with Michael Jackson ahead of his trial for child molestations charges.

In the year 2010, he went to the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York to have surgery done on his back. His was been botched and his right foot was severely affected. Rivera hasn’t disclosed much about the situation in the years since it transpired.

On January 4, 2022, Rivera announced that was tested for Covid-19 and he became positive. Despite 2 shots of Moderna + Pfizer booster, he still tested positive. He said that his wife and daughter tested negative. This was actually the reason for Rivera disappearing from Fox News at the start of the year 2022.
