Galey Alix Ex-Fiance
Prior to being in a relationship with Dale, Alix was engaged but things did not go as planned. The two met when Galey went to New York for a work event and started dating after some time. Prior to parting ways, Galey and her ex-fiance were planning to relocate to Connecticut in a 10,000 sq. ft. mansion. Alix decided to decorate and redesign the mansion before their wedding because the house was just not ready to move into.
A year before their planned wedding date, Alix began redesigning and renovating the mansion and always filmed every step. She was fully into the renovation when she could not find designers and contractors to assist her. She had planned to resign from her job which was in Florida once she finished the renovation and moved to Connecticut, get married, and start life fresh in Connecticut with her fiance.
However, due to the pressure she was getting from solo renovating a mansion, planning her wedding, long flights from Florida to Connecticut every week, and having a full-time job, she struggled with a very bad eating disorder both Bulimia and Anorexia. Moreover, she kept all her eating disorders to herself and had to figure out how to survive with the eating disorder.
A week after her wedding, she resigned from her job in Florida and relocated to Connecticut. However, just before the wedding, opened up to her fiance and told him about her eating disorder and also admitted that she perhaps needed to go to therapy. Her fiance broke up with her there and then the reason was, Alix kept her disorder a secret and didn’t tell him. That same day, she packed her bags, took her dogs, and went back to Florida and shared that the breakup and heartbreak were the lowest time of her life since she had given it her all just to lose it all.
Upon getting to Florida, she focused more on her mental health and found a therapist and nutritionist to help her with her eating disorder. She then deleted her Instagram where she had posted all about her upcoming wedding and videos and photos of her renovating the Connecticut mansion. Months later, her mental health was better, she logged in to Instagram where she found tens of thousands of more followers, and one of the videos of her renovating the mansion had gained over 30 million views with some people begging her to renovate their homes!

Galey was born and raised in Florida, USA by Galey Hoover Gravenstein and her father whose names are not known by the public. She often posts her parents on her Instagram account wishing them a happy Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Growing up, she was raised alongside Michael Gravenstein, Nikolaus Lee Gravenstein, and Karling Gravenstein. Michael went to The University of Central Florida where he studied Molecular Biology and Microbiology.
