While at WTVD, she covered everything from breaking News to UNC pep rallies in addition to hurricanes ripping through the Tar Heel state.
Additionally, she has a background in covering politics as she began her broadcasting career at Capital News 9 located in her hometown of Albany, New York. Prior to diving into News, she spent time producing episodes of an MTV documentary called True Life. While there, she spent the most time in New York City and also traveled all over the country which was while following teens and young adults as they grappled with issues such as bipolar disorder and addiction to drugs.
Previously, she was a member of Phi Beta Sorority and the Ivory Tower Honor Society. She in addition serves on the board of the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project. Additionally, she donates her free time to the foundation, Help Us Adopt. Away from work, enjoys traveling running, and doing yoga.
