Pritchett is a meteorologist at NBC9 News in Charlottesville, Virginia. He serves the station as a meteorologist forecasting during weekday at 5, 6, 10 and 11 o’clock edition of NBC29 Neews. Pritchett is thrilled to be working and living in the Shenandoah Valley. He was also a four-year veteran of the MWC cross-country team.
Prior to joining the NBC29 weather team, he organized and managed a few political campaigns. In addition to that, during a winter session of the Virginia General Assembly, he worked as an assistant legislative aide. Pritchett likes following and learning about the weather. This is an interest he developed since he was young. He also enjoys following politics.
Pritchett earned the NWA Television Seal of Approval in 2001. He is also member of the National Weather Association. In addittion to that, Mississippi State University awarded him a certificate in Broadcast Meteorology in 2006. During his leisure time, he enjoys model railroading, kayaking, as well as running.
